Ami Nakai (中井 亜美) is a women's singles skater representing Japan. She was born April 27, 2008 in Niigata, Niigata Prefecture, Japan.

At the senior level, she is the 2026 Winter Olympics bronze medalist, the 2025-26 Grand Prix Final silver medalist, the 2025 Grand Prix de France champion and the 2025 Skate Canada bronze medalist.

At the junior level, she is the 2023 Junior World bronze medalist, the 2024-25 JGPF bronze medalist, a 4-time JGP champion and the 2022 JGP Latvia bronze medalist.

Congratulations Ami on placing fourth in the 22/23 Japan nationals! Especially impressive considering she didn't even make it to the FS last year. What an improvement within 1 year :clap:

Though, remember to put in the 3rd combo in your FS next year ok ;)

And since it seems like there's barely anyone in Ami's Fan Fest... Can I adopt Ami as one of my children please?

Ami is back at JWC with two 3A in her free. What will happen?? I think I like Ami’s Cinderella FS the best out of her junior programs.
