Hearing conchita wurst yesterday in eurovision , i remembered this beautiful ex programm. I also think that the programms made for her at competitions dont really let her express herself , but In this programm i saw sth totally different. Young russian are really openminded and can lead the country out of the crisis . In the time she changes the costum she do rise like a phoenix !!! Well done , Anna. I will be chearing for you next season 👍👍👍

'So far we haven’t decided on programs for next season but very soon I hope to start on that, we are in no hurry there is still time. It is difficult to explain why things are that way but we are not going to delay – I will be fully ready for pre-season skates. I am not to re-use last season programs, it is not an option.
We with my coach, Anna Tsareva, have decided to change a season preparation plan compared to previous seasons. Meanwhile we are working on many things: spins, SS & jumps. I have enough ice time to get everything done. We also working on new loop combinations which will allow to grow in future. Thus we are not going to stop on already achieved. Of course I’d want to try a 3A and a quad but at the moment we have somewhat different goals.'

Frankly I am beginning to worry that she's got not programs yet but relieved that she is not going to re-use old ones. Hope all will work out fine for Anna.

If I'm to be completely honest, my heart sinks every time Anna Tsareva is mentioned. I really hope they have a decent enough relationship and Anna will be able to make the most of the hopefully wonderful programs next this upcoming season. You go, Anna! (And I'll be crossing my fingers to see you in the GPF somehow, probabilities be damned!)

I actually have a feeling pogo and tsareva have a better relationship than is conveyed in the kiss and cry. Not every person reacts in the kiss and cry like kori ade and Jason brown. Russian culture is already much more reserved as it is. I wouldn't be surprised is tsareva is tough on Pogo, but that doesn't mean she isn't nurturing or supportive in her own ways.

Our American sensibilities toward "warm fuzzy coaches" don't always apply to every culture, and don't necessarily correlate competitive results either.

There is "reserved" and there is Anna Tsareva. That body language... I'm not American and my culture is not far from Russian but even commentators over here noted on how Anna Tsareva seems to be isolating herself from Pogo.... Sorry, sorry. I don't mean to be a dark cloud, and I really hope I'm wrong and their professional relationship is okay and Anna P will come back to the circut in good spirits and with grear programs. And with great costumes that will show off how beautiful she is.

I think she is just reserved really... But the main thing is that Anna looks very insecure, and maybe needs more support - also in K&C.

There is reserved, and then there is shooting daggers at the ice with your eyes when your skater falls. A part of me thinks a truly reserved person would not look so openly hostile when things do not go well.

Anna and her coach both said in interviews that they had some issues last season, and a coaching change was contemplated, but that they were able to resolve their differences. If she says things are better now, I tend to believe her.

As for not having new programs prepared, she's far from the only one. There are still >2 months before the test skates. I don't think they need to panic just yet.

Impressive, Anna! :points:

But I can't stop laughing at those eejits in the foreground!!!

Don't know who the wee fella is, but Anna tagged the girl in the video as Sasha Fomina. So, I clicked through to Sasha's Instagram page, and it turns out she is also one of Tsareva's students.

I wonder does she ever get the death stare...?

Anyway, Sasha uploaded a video this morning of her practicing a jump off ice, and it looked pretty good.

So, does anybody know anything about Sasha Fomina? Is she doing competitions yet and, if so, how is she getting on?

Sorry for this excursion going off topic, but it's not my fault – it's Sasha's fault for photobombing Anna's moment of glory!

Great update. Thanks, doris! I hope you continue on with all these OP updates... I love information that is detailed and easy to find.

According to her fan vk page, her programs will be choreographed by Morozov this season.

Oh Anna... umm good luck! (... try to bring a chaperon at all times.)

I am guessing something warhorse European classical then. Hope she come up with a great exhibition program like last year.

A short interview with Anna, who graduated today (she says she had to employ 3 tutors to help pass the exams):

She now plans to enter the Russian University of Physical Education and Sports.

Congrats Anna! Love anyone who can take education seriously. There's afterall a long road ahead after figure skating and a long life ahead.

Not a lot of new info in this article and we still don't know her music, but I'm glad it seems she isn't bothered by injury any more (for the moment, anyway :drama:):

Bronze medalist at the European Figure Skating Championships 2015 Anna Pogorilaya collects based on the federal "Novogorsk." Some details of the pre-season 17-year-old Anna Pogorilaya told the special correspondent of the portal TEAM RUSSIA-2014 Natalia Plekhanov.

"Now I am in the mode of active preparation for the season - by September I need to be in good shape, - said Anna Pogorilaya. - In Novogorske we skate on the ice, doing general physical training, we go to the pool. This fee will be prolonged for another two weeks. I have long been an open question: who will put my program? The issue helped to solve the federation. New programs put me Nikolai Morozov. Staging process went on another, more professional level than before. Nicholas consulted with me a lot. For example, set the pace - and immediately asks me comfortable or not? When Nicholas arrived, I took all their wheels, we started to listen to an hour to choose - and undecided. In the short program we have something new for me. In any program, like last season, will and lyrics, and the struggle - in short, everything I like (laughs). For me it is important to improve the program due to sliding rotation. We are now in the process of working on new complex elements, but is technically complicate the program will not. The goal of the new season - to increase given the bar, it does not slow down. I can not relax, because the opponents became even more: the girls, who last season played for the juniors, now have the right to take on adult starts. Approaching the new season always adds drive in training: you know what, if it is not completed in this season goes around comes around. "

"Leg injury received shortly before the World Cup in March, I had no worries - leg is long gone - explained Anna Pogorilaya. However, I tucked her again several times, but now it does not bother me at all. "

Good news about getting over the injury. Hope she managed to get over her growing spurts too. Fingers cross on her programs.
