Nice interview with Anna for Sport24:
The first big interview with Shcherbakova after the World Cup gold: she refused the 2nd quad on the go, going to the commander in Japan.
One interesting bit is that she confirms that she was originally planning to do 2 quads in the free program, but after falling on the first one, decided not to take another risk and just go for triples.
That's the kind of quick thinking that makes you a champion.

Anna is very smart. Besides being an unbelievable figure skater she's a student of the game too. Instinctively she knew not to try the 2nd quad and still won gold by several points.Nice interview with Anna for Sport24:

Now I hope Anna get some real rest and I mean for several weeks.
I know she's going to be doing show soon but at some point she needs a few weeks off at the very least to go on vacation with their family and then recharge her batteries for what is going to be a monumental Olympic season.

WTF? Really body shaming the Russian ladies again. SMH. Does anyone ever complain about how small and light some of the men are? barely 100 pounds. I would love to see Yuzu get on the scale.The only thing which comes to my mind is that last summer he reposted Gia Kokotakis in his stories saying:

Alina Sasha Kamilla have muscles everywhere as do several Nastyas Stasya and Liza. So targeting the Russian girls and stereotyping them as those tiny Russian girls is complete BS. But it's meant to harm the girls especially the new world champ.
Why don't they ever talk publicly about American or Canadian girls with known issues? It's always Russia Russia Russia and Anya is the target now.
