Wow~ How many competitions do Russian kids participate in a year?? They are like professional competition-ist.

ОПППФФККМ is extremely complicated abbreviation, means "Open championship for prizes of the President of the Federation of figure skating of the Moscow city " i.e. OCPPFFSMC

A lot of, 9 in this April. This is taking into account all levels of complexity and specialties (for example, ice dance only Apr. 13-16 in Samara). Most competitions are both for adults and juniors. One athlete can't participate in all 9 because of the requirements and his/her physical capabilities.

I have seen that some skaters have skated 10 to 12 competitions in one season.

Anna won this event wit a huge score! :yahoo: She changed some elements in her FS. She did instead of 3Lz-3T a flawless 3Lz-3Lo combination. She received 12.21 points only for this! Sasha did the same combination in the first half (Anya in the second) and got 11.10 in comparison! Aaannd Anna added a beautiful spiral sequence at the beginning (as choreographic sequence). I think she will keep this program for next season...:love:

I'm in love with this program.:love: I hope she will get JGP spots and will keep FS! tbh her Sp is pretty good too. I like both of her programs. but FS is magical

I assumed you were talking about a season just like the one was who you quoted. What is your point with the 9 in one month?

My biggest concern is will she be able to do that once her body hit puberty?
