I kind of wish they would give her a break already.. at the last competition I was very nervous watching her, she looked tired and a bit shaky.. even in the 1st place SP... :scratch2:

Would you like they give her a break with quads? I must admit, I'm having such thoughts from time to time. :think:
 
You'd have to assume she will likely win this. I'm mostly curious about what her FS will look like with the senior version for this season. I don't think it was quite ideal last season...

I too would have preferred her to start the off season much earlier. I think that she really could use a lengthy off season of rest, conditioning and training. It seems really pointless for her to be going to all these competitions... She needs the off season time the most out of just about anyone in the group, and hers will be over a month shorter than that of Kostornaia / Trusova for example. I really hope they know what they are doing with her and everything works out in the end.
 
I don't think it can be from early 2017, she should have been jumping the quads without the rod at that time. Quality's very poor. Mm..

Well, I just hope she isn't pushing herself too hard.
 
Anna skated wonderfully today! I was surprised that she didn't do her 3Lz-3Lo, since she's been jumping it in her FP for a while now, but she did get a great score of 68.67. Good job!

I can't figure out if she's in first or second place after the short, because Alyona (Kostornaya) did her SP in training clothes and took the lead, but then according to the site she was never entered. She's also missing from the recent list of scores from today: https://www.sportvokrug.ru/r/competition/3049/Женщины МС, ПП.pdf). Anna is either in first or second depending on whether or not Alyona is still in the competition. Can someone enlighten us?

Confusion aside, though, Anna skated beautifully. I love both her programs.
 
Alyona was in the results after the competition, maybe she won't be skating tomorrow.. I thought she's there to raise Anna's competitive spirit because the level is not that high.. ;)
Anyway, I pray for clean skate tomorrow, I really cannot stand watching Anna fall, it's too painful... :pray::cheer2::pray:
 
We will see today.. ;) but I hope Alyonka will participate, too... it's always a pleasure to watch her... but at the same time I want Anna to win (hopefully after a clean program)... Go Anna!!! :pray::cheer2::pray:

I always love seeing her. But what happened to her costume?


Also, do u knw if she can go to GP senior cuz in wikipedia it says GP seasons are open to 14 year olds too
 
No, the ISU changed it to 15 for EVERY senior event (including GPs) a few years ago

Has Anya skated yet?
 
Fomina 177, that means victory! :hap93: I hope it will mean something, at least for Anna's self-confidence.. ;)
