A nice run-through, if a little rushed. Let's face it, watching Anna is always such a pleasure. :luv17:
To my untutored eye, she seems to have an interesting soft back landing on her jumps (a.o.t. soft knees) even there in previous seasons' skates.

Hoping for a podium finish tomorrow. It is well within reach :agree2:

Anna, sleep soundly, get up relaxed and confident and have a wonderful SP skate!

Anna had a lovely clean SP run-through. She’s switched out 3Lz3Lo for 3Lz3T, so hopefully she won’t be too nervous going into the SP.

The camera wasn’t on her much after the run-through because it focused on Alina the whole time, but I did see her landing a 4Lz-3T when she happened to be in frame.

She still does the - 3Lo combo in the free

I think she needs to show cleanish skates here and RusNatsJun to secure her spot at junior worlds. If she always falls in her SP, judges might stop believing in the 'consistent 3A' and support someone else - RusFed never liked sending 3 ladies from the same coach.

In my opinion the quads make no good for Anna. I really liked her first GP performance in Bratislava, she was soo good at feeling the music. Since they put those quads, she is skating a bit different, she is concentrating so much on executing the jumps, of course she still does not miss a single beat even if she falls but overall it doesn't have the same flow as it used to have.

I think Daniil once said that he wanted Anna to concentrate only on her triples, but she wanted those quads so much... As we just have seen recently in Vancouver maybe it wouldn't be bad strategy at all.

sorry but Daniil never told her she should only concentrate on triples... in my guess it was with 3lz 3lo you are saying. Daniil advise her to change the combo to 3t and anya refused.
