Please explain the Novogorsk camp.
Is it like those summer camps most sports schools organize for their students?
I.e. a mix of sport, play and fun with kids from all over the country?
Sambo-70 is a school after all.

Pre-season conditioning camp. This is something Russians do in many other sports too. They call it "sbory" or smth. Plus skater will have their obligatory medical check-up and medical clearance required by their RusFed and Ministry of Sport to train and compete next season. Some PT and fitness tests probably too. 40-50 days or so. Meanwhile skaters are receiving their new programs and choreography.

Danii G had been posting sone fun and teasing videos last summer:

The girls been periscoping and doing ig live sometimes. Watch for Kostornaia's invasion at 0:55 and Kostornaia jumping on beds at 8:20 and playing with plushies: https://youtu.be/xIqQKYPmDg0

Away from parents and ultimate girlie fest.

Oh wow, I didn't realize they go to the camp for so long!

Thanks, the center looks very well equipped, 2 rinks no less.

Compulsory medical check ups too, so some skaters might receive bad news and not get cleared? FFKKR sponsored skaters are government employees sort of, so insured against injury only if perfectly healthy?

I included video to the earlier post.

Btw, I guess this season's camp will be a week or 2 shorter for Alina and 3A squad. All 4 of them are flying to Japan for Dreams on Ice show. Last year Alina presented her POTO SP there. Hopefully 4 Eteri girls will debut their new SPs there as well.

They are insured any way. Medical checkups are there for government employees to make sure coaches and RusFeds are not pushing skaters throughout injuries or medical pre-conditions not compatible with doing professional sport. I guess this way Ministry of Sports controlling and protecting health and well-being of athletes against bad coaches and poor RusFed's decisions. Something bad happen during the season - it is on them.

It's just 4 shows within 3 days. It takes not more than a week. Even less.
Last summer Anna participated in this show too. She skated her FP.

Ok then. They will be back with the rest of the crew in no time. Still hope Dreams on Ice will get the exclusive content by girls presenting their new programs for the first time for broad public. What it is like... 2-3 months to wait?

In this clip, from a rather excellent series of front row fan clips from the April 21 "Champions on Ice" show with Anna: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOntGCeCkj4&list=PLp40pVHUhQ3dZL0-6hL-Cm3Yww_JuBRVh&index=22 Anna didn't mess up her slide series, she pulled herself with a twist out of her splits and raised herself to her feet again. Also the Geisha steps form her entrance are clearly visible. This was the effect Anna wanted to achieve in the first place.

You can notice a little girl about 8 years old dancing in a free space on the deck laid down inside the boarding, left side far corner, white sweater, black trousers and she has flashing LED's in her shoes. She dances to every skater's routine :-)
This is just the effect FFKKR strives to achieve with this show and Ice Age, Kids: promoting figure skating for children. Anna and the other successful juniors that are soon to be seniors are very much 'accessible' and relatable for young children, even Alina Zagitova still is.
Every girl that loves skating wants to be like Anna, Aleksandra, Alyona, Alina or Sof'ya or Kamila.

Lets hope young boys also find inspiration in watching Danill Samsonov and the other young boy skaters.

Do they get paid for this?

I hope Anna as fragile as she is isn't over doing it with a training and a big show when she should be in her offseason. Also it will be interesting to see if puberty hits her hard or not. I would think not at this point. But that is to be determined by mother nature.
