Annika Hocke (born 16 July 2000) and Robert Kunkel (born 28 April 1999) are a pairs team representing Germany. They teamed up in 2019.

At the senior level, they are the 2023 European bronze medalists, the 2022 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalists and at their first World Championships together (2021), the placed 13th, earning a spot for Germany at the Olympics.

At the junior level, the team qualified for the 2019-20 Junior Grand Prix Final, finished seventh at the 2020 European Championships, and placed 4th at the Junior World Championships (placing 3rd in the free skate and winning the small bronze medal), great achievements for such a new team!

Annika previously competed with Ruben Blommaert, winning silver medals at the 2017 CS Minsk-Arena Ice Star and 2017 International Cup of Nice, and representing Germany at the 2018 Winter Olympics.

With his former skating partner, Talisa Thomalla, Robert has competed at two World Junior Championships, placing 12th in 2017 and 7th in 2018.

Annika and Robert won the silver medal today at Challenge Cup. Total score 177.23 points (60.75 SP, 116.48 FS). I expected them to score a bit higher in the FS because they executed their programme well - just a hand down on the throw 3F and a wonderfully landed throw 3Loop, some great lifts (but their 3li only got a level 2, and their triple twist a level 1) and great overall image. I also noticed how happy Annika looked during the skating. She really seems to enjoy herself. Robert has a rather stoic expression all the way through, and he definitely gets the job done! They seemed to be pleased with the skate in itself, not so much with the points even if they turned out to be second and silver medallists (and there's certainly no shame in ending up behind Tarasova and Morosov!).
