Fortunately, my parents have set up a trust fund to go towards the care of the cottage after they die. They have alot of money saved up and can easily do this.
I forgot to tell this: There was a family on the same road as our cottage. After a remarriage there were so many arguments on who got to use the cottage and when, that the father abruptly sold it. He didn't want to deal with it anymore.
At least my cousin can't buy half of the cottage because you can't buy something that isn't for sale.

Seriously, there are positives and negatives to being single and married. Enjoy the positives because you'll regret not doing so if/when status changes.
