Tonight's performance just

I was in the audience and she was fabulous!! She's in a perfect position too, virtually tied for second but not technically in a medal spot right now so somewhat the underdog that she so loves to be.

I second that, Charmblade. She's positioned well, but still the underdog. Does anyone know whether she has in the past responded well to being the very last to skate, in the final group?

As for being in the audience tonight ... that's so wonderful. She makes that emotional connection with her audiences. Tania K. said on IN commentary (after her skate) that you could see Ashley amping up all of her expressions, so that everyone in the arena could see and enjoy. She has so much heart. I was lucky enough to be in the arena at Nationals 2015 when she regained her title. We all collectively were swept off our feet, as though it was involuntary to stand up! So cool.

Ashley have been several years one of my favourite skater.
2014 season i love the pink floyd SP
But WOW last night all klick together skatig,moves and music.
That was one program that im going to watch meny times from tube.
Hope she can do good and clean FS too and get medal that she not yet have.

This is my favorite performance of all time, this program speaks to me on so many levels, it´s very true to my heart and to be able to skate like this in front of an audience that is so supportive, I can´t even say the words.

I knew based on the cheers by the crowd that I heard backstage, that everyone had been skating lights out and I had a tough job in front of me.

I've always been a fan of Ashley, literally since I first saw her skate, but I have to admit I never actually thought she'd be able to do this. I am so happy the stars aligned for her, it was such a special moment. I know she'll never forget it. It was the best. Well done Ashley! I agree with all of this. I can't stop watching her long program at worlds. I wonder what she is going to choose for her program next year!
