Best Looking Man in Figure Skating...

Ingo is coaching the German pairs team that was at Skate Canada. Jaana's right he looks great! I had forgotten how handsome he is. He looks so much better without Mandy,LOL.

Thanks, Piel. I didn't know that. Is that the pair that won the event? Also, I agree, Ingo does look so much hotter on his own.....that beautiful blonde just got in the way!

Are you sure that's a real human? It looks like somebody took Ilia Kulik and Evgeny Plushenko and morphed them into one person via photoshop.

Ditto. He looks like a smurf on a bad hair day.

Besides, once the Yagudin pics showed up, there seemed to be no more point to this thread!

Oh yeah, and hi Elfga!

To me, Sergei Grinkov was the most attractive man I have seen in the skating world. He was just very handsome--and also very masculine. He didn't necessarily have classically perfect features, but overall he was just a very attractive man.

I suppose I'm showing my (middle) age here, but Peter Oppegard still wins the prize with me. Among the younger guys, I'd pick Kulik and Joubert.

If we're counting the coaches and choreographers, I need to add Peter Gruetter (Lambiel's coach), Ivo Swec (Lindemann's choregrapher), Shpilband, Naumov, Platov, and Ingo "He's So Fine" Steuer. I also think that Haijun Gao (Chengjiang Li's and others' coach) is attractive; he reminds me a little of the actor Seiji Miyaguchi, who played Kyuzo in The Seven Samurai, not so much in features but in expression. (I also have a soft spot for Kudriatsev, but not on the basis of looks, and Mishin has great eyes.)

Dr Frog- join the crowd! I was about to mention Peter Oppegard also. I thought Paul Wylie was very nice looking (though I am taller!). And to go to those OLDER than me, Toller Cranston was quite the stunner in his day. Kulik is very cute-I always liked the floppy hair and pink cheeks!

Hee. I was just thinking today, I had such a crush on Paul Wylie when I was in high school. Now I feel old. (By skating standards I *am*, but still...)

I loved Paul big time when I was 8-9 years old

I still love him ;) at age 20-21

I love this thread......... but I came to it late, so may have missed some posts.

Has anyone mentioned John Zimmerman?? Mommy!

And... well... it just doesn't get much better than Peter Tchernyshev.

And just recently on my radar: Craig Buntin. Dreamy.

Others that spring to mind: Massimo Scali, Sergei Dobrin, Jordan Brauninger, Lauzon, Abt, Andreev, Steur, Oppegard, Jahnke, Ferreira, Joubert.....................

Kevin van der Perren (TOO darn cute for words)
Patrick Meier
Norman Jeshke (I'll be he and Mikkeline Kierkgaard made a beautiful couple on the ice before they broke up)
Michael Weiss (grates on my nerves but he is a darn good-lookin' guy)

Jordan Brauninger is very, very good-looking!

I still think Yags is one of the most handsome skaters, but I'm not liking his hair so much lately...

Johnny Weir is beautiful.

Awww, he's still adorable. I love short guys.

Alexander Abt looks like an angel.
I like Andrei Maksimishin's looks alot too, he looks kinda like Snape from Harry Potter.
Stephane Lambiel reminds me of Harry Potter.
Andrei Griazev looks alot like Draco Malfoy. <333
Well I am a Harry Potter freak by the way.
