I saw the last group- kind of sleepy so these are just impressions.
Cappellini/Lanotte: Nice and easy stroking though I think he might have had a miscue on a step and not switched it over to the correct side in the correct time to the music. He corrected it but when they got off the ice- she looked very upset and it wasn't until their scores came up that she loosened up a bit.
Zaretskis: They were fighting the dance the whole way- extensions were kind of disjointed. It's always sad to see a team who know that they're slipping in the standings badly but the harder they try the harder it is to make the movement smooth.
Davis/White: Meryl looked like a fairytale princess- lovely cream dress with long ballet net skirt that swept along with her movement and hair up but in a loose low upswept kind of style- like a modified Gibson girl. There was a bit of a wait befor e their names were announced. Their waltz was solid- good extension on the free leg but I felt that Charlie kept turning his head and looking for their positioning on the ice I could be wrong about that though.
Khokhlova/Novitski: Same costuming as CoC. Nice flow and movement across the ice but I noticed a gap between their bodies at certain points that I didn't seem to notice at CoC. I felt that they were more confident in this waltz at CoC. This flower girl came up to them in the middle of their bows and stood there with a bouquet of flowers. Jana warm-heartedly gave her a big hug before continuing on with their bows.
Domnina/Shabalin: Different all white costumes. You're right lmarie- his costuming looks quite a bit like Ben's white waltz tux. They were tall, confident, and strong in their waltz presentation. Though his leg extension didn't quite match hers at times. They are out in front by a pretty good lead- if it's like TEB I don't think they will be caught even if others lead in other parts of the competition.
