I'm planning on going to Cup of Russia, but I can't find any information on tickets, tours or reservations. Does anyone have any info? Thanks.

Welcome, ray :)

Do not worry about the tickets - you can buy them even when skaters are on the ice already. They used to be very cheap ($10-15 for a day except for exhibitions which cost ~ $25-30). But this year CoP seems to be at a new arena (Khodynka) which is really huge and needs to pay off asap and I suppose that tickets may go up in price.

I know nothing about tours unortunately( But I believe hotels are more or less empty in November so you can choose any variant you want. There are tons on hotels in Moscow but I'm afraid most of them are either too luxurious or just bad (though I'd be glad to be wrong there).
The most reliable site for hotels search is http://all-hotels.ru/moscow/index.en.html?kk=a10f35dd5f

Last year the official hotel was Ukraina (http://all-hotels.ru/h3596/hotel/index.en.html?kk=105322ac9a) - it is not far from Luzhniki where the competitions had been held. But I seriously doubt Ukraina is worth its money.

If this year CoP will be in Khodynka arena then the nearest hotel is Aerostar http://www.aerostar.ru/ which is quite decent. If you prefer less expensive one then there is Aeropolis hotel right near the Aerostar but I'm not sure it is comfortable enough. But try to do your own search (the Khodynka is near the Dinamo or Aeroport metro stations it should help in findings).

It may be more comfortable (and cheaper) to rent an appartment (I for one adore to live in flats in other cities) but I don't know if such a reservation is enough for visa. A few flats are on the site I mentioned but they are too expensive. There are a lot of other rent services.

Please feel free to ask any other questions :)
