Waiting for Shoma to skate to The Godfather, Marin to skate to Coppelia, Wakaba to ditch that horrid Scheherazade costume and skate to Danse Macabre. Pogorilaya should skate to Fever as a short and Angelica by Rodrigo y Gabriela for the long.

I accidentally uploaded the wrong version of my Harry Potter dream program. Here is the correct version with my music edits....the last one was like 10% done with all sorts of out of time stuff going on :hslap:

I love that song too. All of the HP soundtracks offer a lot of emotional type music. :luv17:

I only worked on this for a couple of hours so it's far from perfect and some of the edits are just not tweaked yet but it gives an idea. Anyone else want to see a Potter themed program as much as me? What other songs would you choose. I'd love some suggestions because I'm going to redo this again some day and I'm open to suggestions for selections. I love the music when Harry and Ginny first kiss in the room of requirement but I think a really good one that wouldn't need much editing could be the Weasley Stomp.

I am really impressed by FS selection :) I would live to see Misha Ge skating to it, Zhenya Medvedeva or Mao Asada also would interpret it well :) We need some Harry Potter program from top skater.
 
Evgenia Medvedeva - "Across The Stars" by John Williams. I want to see her do a powerful dramatic piece, her skating is just begging for something with dramatic heights and soft lows.

Gracie Gold - "Ride of the Valkyries," because if she must do something classic, why not give her something with more attack and movement to it.
"Hold Me Down," by Halsey - I want Gracie to explore new styles and this is apparently one of her favorite songs. I just wonder how she would emote if she had music she loves.

Since I love Star Wars and I think John Williams has made masterpieces for those films I want someone to skate to the following tracks:
"Rey's Theme"
"Duel of the Fates"
"Battle of the Heros"
They're fantasticallt dramatic and would work in skating. Also with the release of Rogue One there was a great Track called "Jyn Eros/Hope Theme" that would also make great skating music.

Skaters have so many options now, I want to see some of the great film scores used more often.

I like that idea of Evgenia skating to Star Wars!

I would love to see Gracie try a Game of Thrones program as Dany with the Mother of Dragons type themes. Honestly though - I really just wana see more Game of Thrones programs.

I understand that thought, I just want to see some great quality Star Wars programs, just like you want to see more Game of Thrones program. I also would like to see some programs to Ivan Torrent's music, it's got a lot of great qualities to it.

It turned out to be one of the best movies I've ever seen and as a LA native, a lot of its messages really hit home. Anyway, I loved the entire soundtrack as well, and I think all of it is very skateable. I made an edit of Evgenia skating to some music from the film. However, while making this video, I found that the soundtrack would honestly suit other skaters better...namely (well, especially) Gracie, Yulia (City of Stars), Mariah (Bell), Elena Radionova (some of the more upbeat pieces), and Mirai. Wouldn't be surprised to see any of them do a La La Land program eventually.

It's not really an original idea, but I would love to see Zijun Li use Song From A Secret Garden. It would suit her so well :love:...I'm listening to it now and I can almost see her skating in to it in my head :)
 
I would like to see Jason Brown do a Tango and Max Aaron do something bluesy-Frank Sinatra-y :thumbsup:

I'll second both these suggestions. They've gone near it before - Jason had that Grand Guignol short in 2011-2012 and Max had a "Feeling Good" ex many, many years ago but I would definitely not object to a revisit of the genre for both now that they've all grown up. (On that note, I'd like a Tango from Max, too. Guess I'll just have to do with the Paso Doble for now.)

Additionally, I would have loved to have seen Josh do either a proper Latin-themed program (tango or samba/salsa - and no tinkly piano tangos again please) or a jazzy, upbeat program.

Since I first heard it, I have pictured Gracie skating a show program to "Castle" by Halsey. So diva and so commanding.
 
this might be slightly off topic but I want to see Yuna skate to Arirang as an EX at the PC Olympics
