ETA: I may change this, though. Being such a heavy favorite on home turf is a lot of pressure for a 16 year old. Who but Kwan has been able to handle that kind of pressure? Being the underdog may help Ando.

4. Rochette
5. Kim

3. D/L
4. D/S Bulgaria
5. D/W (ya never know - it's the year for D's!)

What a crapshoot, pardon my language. It is going to be tight in every contest - even pairs, if S/S skate like they did at Euros. That's my real prediction!

Ummm ok here I go:

Ladies:

1. Asada-if she loses iloveaxel jinxed her ;)
2. Ando
3. Meissner
4. Kim
5. Rochette-maybe more wishful thinking then reality

Mens:

1. Lambiel-I get this hunch, could be more heart then head, but he will be more prepared then people believe he could possible be given his year.
2. Takahashi
3. Joubert
4. Lysacek
5. Oda-no quad will hurt him if others skate well

Pairs:

1. Shen/Zhou-probably have a 2 fall cushion
2. Savchenko/Szowkoly
3. Petrova/Tikhonov-bold prediction but I think the crafty veterans will come up with something in their swan song and upstate the two Chinese who they should have beat for last years World title
4. Zhang/Zhang-struggled this year alot
5. Pang/Tong-illness recovery has made them forgotten Chinese team yet again

Dance:

1. Domnina/Shabalin(ugh)
2. Dubreuil/Lauzon
3. Denkova/Stavinski
4. Delobel/Schoenfeldner
5. Belbin/Agosto

Joe - Just my last minute figuring.

The only positive predictions I made were for S&Z and Mao.

The four Dance teams are equal in odds, for me. I would never predict a pesonal favorite in any division unless I see a trend by judges in previous competitions.

So, you give French D&S an equal shot at the Gold.
My predictions, if you could call them that, are quite simple. I'm just basing my thoughts on IF all the skaters and teams skate their BEST plus what mind set the judges may have. I'm not into nationality and how cute the boys are; have no favorites now, no age gets to me, so I can sit back and let the games begin. Just hoping it's all fair.
