Edea Overture vs Chorus

I’m looking to upgrading my boots, but I’m debating between Edea Overture and Chorus. For reference, I’m an adult figure skater (164cm, 45kg) working on loop jump and sit spin. They also come with JSW blades; I’m wondering if these are fine for my skill level or if I should look into replacing the blades.

I also have flat feet so I’m also considering getting insoles if anyone has recommendations :)

Sorry you seem to have gotten buried in the post-Olympics/pre-Worlds activity here :love3:. GS is more of a fans' forum than actual skaters, but there still are a fair number of us who skate and/or coach who could have answered you.

First of all, where do you live and where were you fitted for your boots? Just to make sure that Edeas of any kind are right for your foot shape? Toe line (Egyptian, Roman, Greek, etc)? Your arches are flat, OK, arch height is always a crucial feature. Do your heels fit tightly in an Edea boot? The rest of the boot can be moulded, but the heels not so successfully, and they have to fit snugly there for your safety in landing jumps. How long have you been skating, how many hours per week or month do you skate, do you take group lessons or have a private coach?

Tell us a bit more and we can help you either decide between the models you're looking at, or if you should be in a different brand of boot altogether. As for blades, a basic pair of MK Pros or Coronation Ace blades will see you through many levels of ability as you advance. Good luck!
