What I find so interesting is how fast Ruslan improved. He was always talented, but I think he needed a partner like Elena to push him to the next level, which is kind of ironic since he didn`t even want to change partners.
Regarding his critics, I have to say, that I do not compare him with Nikita, because they are two completely different skaters. Nikita is someone who wants the spotlight, Ruslan is a skater who has a strong presence on the ice but is more focussed on presenting his partner. Ruslan reminds me a little bit Andrew Poje, because he also is an expert of presenting Kaitlyn, but in the same time his presence is always there on the ice.

Ruslan, is going make so many eat their words. Man I almost cannot wait. Man, I would have loved to see the look on TAT's face when I/Z won today. Priceless!!

The only thing that I/K have over I/Z is an Olympic medal. All the other successes, Euros medal and top 5 at Worlds, can be reached by I/Z already this year. For the Olympic Medal we have to wait for 2018, but I wouldn`t be surprised if I/Z are going to be one of the teams fighting for the OGM.

I am serious. I'm getting my yoga on and will only send positive vibes and karma to Ruslena (whom I believe will be European medalist shortly) I will keep it classy. Tree pose is the answer. I wish I could post pictures here.
Ps I am at the ice rink. I am going to twizzle with an extended leg in hot or of Ruslena!

If they continue on this path, I wouldn't expect less from them.
I really believe it will be Ruslena and P/C for 2018!

Ok I am in the break room. I went full speed into a twizzle, did one rotation extended my leg and disaster. I should have listened. My elbow is going to shades of black and purple. In other news I can still do a single flip. All in the name of Ruslena.

Lol I skated for 16 years. I love it! As far as the free dance goes I would love to see them do something different with that second lift as well as polish up the part where he kind of swings her. I like the changes they have made so far. Love the kiss after the spin!
