Bravo Elena and Ruslan on your win at Russian Nationals! There is so much to love about them like how supportive they are of each other, how they appreciate their Fans, and their passion/chemistry and talent.

I kinda of feel like this Marilyn Monroe quote sums up how I feel the creation of Ruslena:
"Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."
 
Can you imagine that they did not falter on their first shot at the title. This says a lot about the two; fighters. Lena looks completely spent though so I hope she gets some good rest.

They were definitely warm with each other. I loved how she rested her head on his shoulder in the kiss and cry. And that kiss in the middle of the program.... I think they are both exhausted, their schedule the last couple weeks was noted as being hectic. No worries!

I loved that. :love: Ruslan seems to be able to deal with Elena`s emotions, which is great. He really is an amazing partner and I can`t wait to see them at Euros and Worlds.
 
He comforted her like a rock.I really love their relationship.It's so genuine.

Maybe that's why some IK fans can't deal with it....Please let the past in the past, genuine friendly relationships and acting by a script are a totally different thing. And I say this because I saw that same comment on a russian group today and it was so similar as if coming from the same person.So please, stop creating stories where there are no stories to create.IZ are russian champions, everybody can see their chemistry and respect towards eachother and they aren't a sequel of IK, nor IK, nor have the relationship of IK

And I'm never coming back to that subject again.

It`s ok :biggrin: Some people still can`t let go of I/K and maybe they never will. The fact is that this break-up was a blessing in disguise for both Ruslan and Elena. Elena has now coaches and a partner who are very sensible towards her and Ruslan has a partner who is pushing him to the next level of his skating.

I totally agree. It seems that Ruslan was stuck in a rut, and he progresses so fast.I always knew he was a great skater but the way he's holding his own is amazing.I agree with Elena that we haven't seen what he can really do
And I love I/Z so much, they are genuine, they are in this together, and their skating skills are amazing.
 
He is a kind and intelligent man. Lena has been through a lot and I think these experiences will make her even stronger.

I don't know, maybe fix that lift and add some more transitions and dance holds.
I don't think they need to change anything on the SD though. It's perfect.

I want them to get rid of the weird bits between the 2nd step sequence & spin & after the final lift where it just feels like they're waiting around for the next element to come along. The dance loses momentum for me there, while the first half flies by! It just needs a little rethink. And I agree on more close holds, although it doesn't need to be complicated - just take the times when they're holding hands but with extended arms and instead bend at the elbow to be closer together.
 
Their FD has a weird moment when Lena kneels on Ruslan's leg. It's just :confused: I think they should get rid of it.
 
Does anybody know when the victory ceremony for the ice dancers is scheduled? I can`t wait to see Ruslena on the top of the podium. :love:
