Live impressions about the MC I/Zh (translation from Russian)
Hello everybody!
I’d like to share a few live impressions about the master class (from a few different people) , sorry for my bad English)
“The guys are fantastic.
Once again I got sure that I just can’t help supporting them.
Ruslan showed some steps for everyone, he was very moving. Also he showed the positions for the girls - killian, waltz and foxtrot. The students were skating behind him, and he explained and showed everything steadily and clearly; and most importantly, he believed that all of the skaters would succeed.
When Ruslan was showing me the killian, he said "You're trembling so much, do not be afraid"
Lena took on another mission. She just took a person by the hand out of the crowd and skated alone with him or her, chatting confidently. How do I know that it was “confidently”? Because I was one of those people who had the chance to skate with her.
The coaches did not come out on the ice, but they were cheering all the skaters. Lena's mother was there, she organized the tea party, and Lena’s brother was there too.
After the ice practice everybody went to the locker room, there was a table laid for us. We were drinking tea and eating cake and chatting. The guys signed a hundred of photos as well as one pair of skates (My skates!)
It was very sad to leave. We wished them good health, relax, successful programs, and promised to love and root for them.
I was one of the last to leave the skating rink, and it just happened so that I did not get to a bus stop when a car stopped up, it was Ruslan, and he asked me where I was going. He gave me a lift me to the subway station. He is incredibly easy and pleasant to talk to.
Also I want to say that never in my life I skated that bad as today so I have a prominent “minus -start”. I stood on straight legs, and in the same manner I was skating, my knees didn’t bend, as if they were legs of an oak pool table.
As for the programs, before the practice we were requested not to ask the guys about it, I can only say that they seem to be enthusiastic about their new FD.
Such emotions are precious.
It seems that somebody asked about Lena’s mother and little brother. Liliya Ilinykh bought some bags of food and even two kettles for tea. Right in the locker room she laid the table – there were sliced meat and cheese, bread, cakes, sweets, fruit and juice. Most of the food was left uneaten, so at the end it was carried to the trainer’s room.
When everyone left, there were some people who stayed and helped to clean up, she sat down with us, we were finishing the grapes and talking.
Andrew (Lena’s brother) is a charming guy. It seems he asked Ruslan for an autograph. Such a united family!
As for the leader, today I was convinced that the leader in the pair is Ruslan. He took on the most difficult moments, he led the crowd, leaving Lena a pleasant right to dance and to be photographed.
About the lifts, nobody asked for them, but the guys did for us their signature lift - the "deer" from Carmen, and even the second time as an encore. It was easy, confident, fast!
Ruslan ruled the ball on the ice - I didn’t skate around, so from the side I could see pretty well– the people just came out on the ice, and seven minutes later all of them were following him like a flock. He was showing the steps and looking how it worked out.
I have smiled today more than in the past couple of weeks, my mood is excellent!
I'd add that I have not noticed any particular tiredness about them. Sometimes it looked like it was us who had been working hard throughout a difficult season, not the guys on the ice, because we got a bit exhausted while they felt themselves completely at ease.
And yet, it seemed to me, there was an exchange of positive energy that had an impact on us and on the Lena and Ruslan.
The guys have a wonderful support group. Surprisingly, the fans are people aged 10 to 70 (but the last number can be wrong). However, the main group at the master class guests were 17-27 years old.
I think that today there was a real fest on the ice. Thanks to the guys and their team for the unforgettable moments !!
The coaches and the choreographer were very cheerful. Lena’s mother is an example for many mothers, I suppose. So much care, so much attention and so much goodness!
Andrew (Lena's brother) was so energetic! We would like to have so much energy as him!
I really liked the dance improvisation. And the lifts were done with utmost ease. For sure in reality everything looks much more delightful than on TV.
Probably you could hardly find another such a partner that girls would stand in line to dance with. But of course, he looks best of all with Lena. I am very happy that they found each other, and we have found such a pair. Let everything go the best way for them!!!
Today was just a wonderful holiday. I hope not only we enjoyed it, but the guys too. They are simply magical. I remember someone here wrote that instead of espresso in the morning reviewing their SD at the Cup of Russia, and now I'll be viewing these pictures and recall.
Because the guys can charge with positive energy better than coffee or a paranormalist TV show.
The coaches were exceedingly pleased. They applauded and supported some of the participants who did not hesitate to do "tricks" on the ice.
I do not know much about technical aspects, but I really wish this coaching team to get great victories not only in junior competitions. They are very professional and nice people. I do not know what's going on behind the scenes, it's none of my business. The most important thing that on the rink and in the hall, in the circle of fans they show themselves from the best side. And I thank them for this wonderful couple...
And huge, just huge thanks to Lena's mother. I think in their family she is a real energizer who manages to be everywhere at the same time, and always manages to help everyone.
I want to say one thing. For the first time today I noticed Ruslan, and he was overshadowing even Lena by his energy. He did not do anything special, but he made a huge impression on people like a rock star. I hope that choreographers will appreciate this diamond. Ruslan should be in center of dance horeography and should be like a protagonist of the dance "plot". And Lena, who's also a vivid person and a top-level dancer, will not fade anyway, so we can get a dance couple with two real stars in the end! "
UPD. Thanks to my dear friends for helping with the translation.
