Not very interesting yet, and the constantly freezing stream is just starting to really annoy me....

yeah.. how far away are domina and shabalin as of now? coudl they catch up? Rooting for them... i actually like thier freedance.
Well, well, well. Looks like Domnina and Shabalin managed to skate the last segment clean(I *hope*), which was excuse enough for the judges to hand the gold over to them. And look at K&N's score too. Looks like we're all set for Russian gold in Vancouver and Sochi both.:scowl:

I think the US Dance teams stand a chance of medaling in both Vancouver and Sochi....and even getting old.
I thought Domnina and Shabalin's free dance was beautiful. Like, I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Or them. That was superb tonight! Like ballet on ice. It had this air of courtliness. I love it when there are perfect performances like this, ones I can come back to and watch again and again. And the life and expression in her arms. Beautiful.
I agree with taylorfax - Dom/Shab were just gorgeous tonight. Then there is a question of taste - their style (and especially this dance) is completely different from the one of Khokhlova/Novitsky, and of the French. And all three pairs gave a great performance. So it is understandable that some people are disappointed (for example, I prefer the second Russian pair) but it is very unfair to explain their medals by their nationality. Thanks to all the dancers for their performances and congrats to Oxana and Maxim!
