He got GREAT height on it and there was only a quarter turn cheat on the landing, so it should be counted.

However, it's almost always hard to tell on these toe-pick jumps just how much the blade pre-rotated first. Unless it's very noticable (like Kimmie's Triple Toes in both the short and long program of this Nationals), it probably shouldn't be held against the skater.

It looked good and really confident - I think Kurt might have said it was a 'tad' pre-rotated though. I couldn't tell.

Kurt commented that it was a little cheated... I remember because I yelled at the TV that his first ratified quad wasn't perfect either lol
