Well, we've had a good run of Skate America in the East: Pittsburgh, Atlantic City, Hartford, and now Reading; so good luck to Everett.

One good thing is that Everett seems ready to go all out. "The biggest event the city has ever had," etc.

If Erin still lived in Portland, OR I'd be soo there... but... she doesn't... and I don't think I could afford a hotel... *Sigh*

it'd be too close to my Disney trip anyway...

That would be quite a commute from Portland to Everett -- 3+ hours each way. Given the traffic, it will take me 45 minutes to get there from Seattle (heading north).

yeah, well... we've done it several times before ( 3 hours each way is nothing... that's the same difference between Anchorage and Kenai...)

but still... can't make it... *sigh*... it'd be fun though.
