Favorite Movies of all time

I'm sure there has been a thread like this in the past, but I'm new to the boards and I would like to get to know everyone better.

A fun thing my family always does at dinner parties is to ask our guests to list their 10 favorite movies of all time. We keep them recorded and its sort of like a guest register, but more personal. You can count movie series (Trilogies, sequels) as one entry, or you can specify one over the other. No need to rank them, and don’t go over 10!!!!!

It was really hard for me to leave steel magnolias off my list!!!

I recommed lone star to anyone who hasnt seen it, its a little independant film but the director is brilliant.

Like water for choc. is on my list of fav foriegn films for sure... I have to make a whole other list for those though
