Freddie! but of course!! how could I forget.

Ladskater -- I love Leonard Cohen too, but wouldn't say it's really his voice that is exceptional.

k.

My all time favorites are:

Female: Karen Carpenter

Male: Elvis

Dee

Kateri:

Well, Leonard's voice has changed over the years! It's not so much his voice, but his great lyrics and music. His voice has a kind of monotone, but he really "gets to you." His song "Suzanne" is one of those songs that stops me in my tracks whenever I hear it.

He is kind of like Dylan - not so much the voice, but the songs. I should add Dylan to my list as well!

Females:Connie Francis, Anne Murray, Janis Joplin, & my all time favorite: Mama Cass!
Males:Too many male singers over the years to list. My taste in music has ranged from c & w to Grand Opera. My current favorites:Clay Aiken, Josh Groban & Brad Cotter (Nashville Star finalist, hopefully wins the title this Saturday.)
