Punsalan and Swallow - I read an article years ago where Punsalan said Yes! they'd been eyeing (Baby) Meryl and Charlie for years at DSC.

Incidentally, when I looked on Wiki to check the spelling on Punsalan, I noticed scrolling down that for the 1994 Olympics, USA only had one Ice Dancing spot. Interesting how category fortunes fluctuate!

I remember they changed their FD before the Olympics - which makes how good it was even more remarkable - but I don’t remember what they had originally.

We were @ those Nationals (in Philly, PA), and I'm pretty sure the Elvis medley was their free dance. But you're right, and that makes their Olympic free dance even more remarkable!

Not my favorite, but the judges sure liked Morisi Kvitelashvili’s Sinatra medley program last season—winning Rostelecom and placing fourth at Worlds
