I can’t believe the Hungarian Fed is the one that came up with actual clear and reasonable rules for the JGP assignments. There’s a point minimum but it’s reasonably low so they are prepared to send people who are not top 10 candidates but who could use experience. There’s a reasonable contingency plan if the results of the test skates are very close or very far apart. I’d love it if more federations were like this!
