The junior results:

2. Mona Grannenfelt 2 3
3. Elina Vesamäki 8 1 (WOW, that is a big rise)

2. Valtteri Virtanen 1 2
3. Henry Rautiainen 3 3
It is a pity that Susanna Pöykiö could not compete, but she will be sent to Europeans together with Drei (substitutes are Elina Kettunen and Tytti Tervonen). Pöykiö had an inflammation in the left ankle. She had to give it a rest, but will be able to start practicing today (Monday). I hope that those who will be able to see the Europeans live, will see Pöykiö at her best.
Also Drei was injured in the morning practices of the freeskate and hurt her left Achilles tendon, but competed anyway. I hope that was a good decision... Here Ritti tells about Drei´s comments in Helsingin Sanomat (the main Finnish newspaper):
From men Ari-Pekka Nurmenkari will be sent to Europeans and his substiture is Mikko Minkkinen and not Antti Aalto who actually became second.... Nurmenkari who won, did not jump a triple axel, so I don´t expect that he will be seen among 10 or even 15 best skaters in the Europeans.
