I don't like the choreo of their FD. Find it very boring
I admit to being concerned before the season began that V/M would never be able to match Valse Triste, but I am absolutely enamoured with this year's FD. They are just so outstanding.
They are good enough to be on the World podium, no doubt about it. Will they end up there? Doubt it - still have to pay a few dues I am thinking.

:scowl: I really do hope you're wrong, although I know exactly what you mean by having them pay their dues. I wish teams could just be rewarded for their talent and what they lay down. Really, who needs politics? This is a sport. I must admit, though, that things have been better in this area since the new system came into play, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed for these two, providing that they deliver on the day.
i loved how Virtue/Moir magically got soo good out of no where...as if they reserved a time for them to come out...saving spots for the top teams last season...just weird

No need to worry yet, lol. They have yet to face off this season. Trust me, I'd love to see D/S finally rewarded for their skating as well.

I felt that D/S should have taken worlds bronze in both 06 and 07. Being a big V/M fan, i can't say I want to see them beat Tessa and Scott
, but I honestly hope that the best team wins. None of the politics, just fair judging. And if it's not the team I like, fine, as long as it's fair.

D/S has been one of the most under-appreciated, under-rated team, IMHO. Although they have been around and very close to the podium for a while, they still carry this underdog feel to themselves. Strange.

i agree with your fairness...but sometimes...judges are totally off, irregardless of favorites.
yes they are totally unappreciated and that underdog feeling is the product of the "politics" and favoritism.
