I think they look great so far. Their twizzles were fast and in sync, and their footwork has all been in sync so far. Their speed looks good and they are smooth.
 
Very nice dance I thought. They should stay ahead of the Azerbajanian's who were within a point of them before this dance.

The Italians are skating to this slow music and I find their skating quite slow so far, just my opinion. Both are wearing tights too.

Very interesting lift, she was arched upside down and brought her skate to her head almost.

Overall though I found that far weaker then the Americans. It is a shame that the Americans score and the lead the Italians had makes it so obvious they will be in front.

Actually he had a fall, I didnt even notice that during the performance, silly me. Maybe the Americans will pass them.

WHAT!!!!! Even with a fall they beat the Americans in the free dance portion even, and extend their lead overall. What is going on at this event.

Yeah but less so under COP IMHO, this event is like a return to the good old pre-COP days.

Anything I thought Pechalat/Bourzat skated very well. They will easily retain 2nd unless Belbin/Agosto blow their performance.

Amazing the Italians even with a fall got a higher TES then the French, Davis/White also had a higher TES then the French. The French though excel again mainly in the PCS.
 
It will be interesting to see the protocals, how did the Italians fall and still get a higher TES then 2 top teams who didnt make a mistake. I didnt think their elements were that superior at all, in fact they were slow and boring like the rest of their program I thought.
 
Ben looks shaky on the twizzles today, he looks like he stumbled a bit on a couple of them.

I liked their program more then the ones they had last year, but it still lacks the impact I think they are capable of. A bit dissapointed.
