well they skated their EX at nationals (which I loved it, it's so sweet!) ... so it's weird they didn't skate it here :scratch: I'm glad they didn't anyway, I prefer Tessa to take it easy before Worlds.

Did they do an encore? I was watching and it just went straight to the next skater after the replay. Or did I fall asleep?

The crowd was not asked to clap to get an encore of P&T. IN showed the whole thing, included all the zamboni stuff and the kids climbing long fabric strips, and there was no attempt to get P&T to skate an encore, nor did they skate one.

Weaver & Poje were added to the gala to replace V&M. V&M chose not to skate the gala to be careful about impeding Tessa's full recovery.

OMG! Chinese team just messed up their twist! Never thought I'd ever see that!

No one fell. I tuned in just as it happened, so it was hard to tell. But it was clear that it had not gone well, she really stumbled out of it.

Not sure what exactly happened but Pang was caught facing away from Tong rather than towards him.

Patrick Chan did an encore presentation and he fell on his back(click on "5:16" in the comment field)! The fall went along with the music quite well too. Not as good as Valentina Marchei's cute fall though.
