For anyone that's coming, there is a free shuttle bus for spectators between the Halifax Metro Centre and Civic Centre. It runs about every 30 minutes, and the shuttle waits 5 minutes at each location before it leaves. (Info thanks to one of the friendly ushers at the Metro Centre).

I didn't find it too cold in the Metro Centre today. However, the snow is now falling here and the temperatures will be dropping the next couple of days. There is also at least one food stand open all day, and they were setting up the "shop" today for programs, shirts, and such. I believe that it will also be open some hours daily.

Wow, a shuttle between the main rink and the practice rink for the spectators??? It's about time they did that.

I was aware that there was a shuttle bus running between the two venues for the families of the skaters (a pass for the week must purchased), but had not heard anything about a shuttle for spectators. Have you actually been on it? This sounds too good to be true, LOL.

I didn't go on it yesterday, but the usher specifically checked for me that it was available to ticket holders and not just people with credentials.
