Grand Prix final in Nagoya again? The ISU needs to diversify a bit...

It's never been in Nagoya AFAIR. It was in Fukuoka in 2013, and Tokyo in 2009, 2005, and 2000.
Other cities that have been repeats are St Petersburg (1998, 2002, 2006), Beijing (2004, 2010), and Barcelona (2014, 2015). As for countries:

Europe - 11 times
Russia - 4 times (St Peterburg x 3, Sochi)
France - 3 times (Paris, Lyon, Marseilles)
Spain - 2 times (Barcelona)
Germany - 1 time (Munich)
Italy - 1 times (Turin)
North America - 4 times (soon 5)
Canada - 3 times (Hamilton, Kitchener, Quebec City) *Will be in Vancouver in 2018
USA - 1 time (Colorado Springs)
Asia - 8 times
Japan - 5 times (Tokyo x 3, Fukuoka, Nagoya)
China - 2 times (Beijing)
S. Korea - 1 time (Goyang)

I think I should have taken one step further and said "Japan again?"

2005 in Tokyo
2009 in Tokyo
2013 in Fukuoka
2017 in Nagoya

You're right. All the Finals above-mentioned have (or will have) been held in Japan for the Olympic seasons.
