What would you consider to be the "greatest night of pairs skating ever?"

To me the Greatest Pairs Comp includes:
1. The top performers giving some of the performances of their lives and some of the best skating programs ever skated.
2. The rest of the field skates cleanly, and almost everyone skates at their best.

I included mostly recent comps because those of the only ones I have seen.

I Forgot to Post a Poll:o

So here are my choices:

A. 1994 Lillehammer
B. 2001 World Championships
C. 2002 SLC
D. Other

1994 Olympics. Three almost flawless routines from some of the best Pairs ever in both the SP and LP.

I don't remember the pairs in 1994

I'd have to say 2002... it wasn't the best judged comp(not talking S/P and B/S I'm talking some of the other performances) but there were some gutsy performances as well as some pairs finally coming together. I am not a fan of Ina and Zimmerman but they got me jumping during their programs... :) USA! ;)

Tonichelle,

The pairs comp in 1994 was awesome. If you have a chance-get a tape of it. That's what I did :)

Scott said it was the best pairs competiton he has ever seeing and I totally agree. 94 Olympics especially the pairs comp was truly awesome.

Wow!

Great topic! I definitaley think the 2002 SLC Olympics had really emotional freeskates! B&S, S&P, and Ina and Zimmerman, and Shen and Zhou were a few!
