Heated Rivalry (2025 - )

I am reading The Long Game now, which is the "sequel" of Heated Rivalry, so Ilya and Shane's story. It's pretty much what we will get for season 2.

I am really having Hollanof withdrawals LOL but I will survive with the O games coming soon

Finished the book... I cried LOL :). it was fun though to see the images of the actors while reading. Visual support is always good. Funny because the characters introduces in The Long Game, that were not in the series, I have a hard time imagining them. The series made me lazy but also the author doesn't spend much time describing things. She's really to the point, with dialogues and action (and of course, "sensual" scenes) I haven't made a decision about the other books yet because they don't centre on Shane and Ilya... but I will definitely buy the 3rd book about them when it's release in the fall.

Hudson and Connor have been chosen as two of the Olympic Torchbearers:

Must be a pretty mindblowing moment for them - Going from fairly unknown actors starring in what was supposed to be a small Canadian series to this level of fame, where they are getting invited to host the Golden Globes and act as torchbearers for the Olympics, of all things.

Amazing 🤩

Nick Suzuki, the Montreal Habs' Captain about Heated Rivalry

To me, this is a big deal. How one small budget TV series could potentially have an impact on young queer pro athletes' life. No matter what you think about the series, it's huge.

Now, this is just silly banter from my part, but Nick Suzuki, is like Shane Hollander, the Captain of the Montreal team and also, half Japanese. The comparison probably stops there. Unfortunately, Nick hasn't won any Stanley Cups :)

Don't we all?
It really is just such a simple, but very effective design. (Another example for this type of design is the Ben Sherman x Team GB fleece released for these Olympics.)

I am sure the price will be quite high, and I'm not sure they'll initially ship it out to European countries after release, so the dream of owning this fleece will likely remain a dream for a little while longer for me 😔

Yeah.. even for locals... I don't own a fleece jacket so... I'd have a good excuse to buy one.

I did it again.... rewatched the whole series. It was the first time since I have read The long game and Role model. Knowing what's happening in the next books really puts another perspective on the series. I am appreciating it even more.

I have started reading Game changer now... and will follow with Heated Rivalry. Though, I have to admit that I am weirdly interested in the NHL Playoffs right now so it is grabbing some of my free time ;)

How many times have you watched the show ? Don't be shy... I think I am at 5 or 6 times LOL

Hudson Willams at the Met Gala... I would think that Madison Chock may be a bit jealous here.
