I'm having a hard time finding a craft that fits this week's theme in Sunday School for my kindergarteners. The Theme is = Helping Hands.

These girls are very new to the whole craft thing, they're not as 'advanced' as my group from last year. Scissors and tracing are so far above them right now it's not even funny. It's so weird to see one group go and they can handle stuff for 8 or 9 year olds, and then these girls can barely do the crafts in the sunday school book.

Anyway the book did not give many ideas this week for crafts, and the first hour teacher will be using them.. so I'm stuck with finding my own. Which is normally fine, but all I'm finding is a 'wreath' made out of traced hands. And that is a craft we do as a class for Christmas so that is out...

any ideas from my crafty friends here?

If there are not alot of children, how about decorating t-shirts? It is not hard. Get some cheap t-shirts and some fabric paint and fabric markers They can do whatever they want and never really mess it up. Also, maybe decoring painters hats. That's always fun too and can be cheaper then the t-shirts. Most craft stores have these items and pretty cheap too.
