Here I’m at the Texas Trophy watching D10 Memorial Comp at the hotel (and my hat is off to them for providing lovely free stream) but of course I’m behind and haven’t even attempted to watch any JGP.

How much do you watch?

I finally got a chance to watch some Lombardia and really enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to the Grand Prix season but so far haven't watched too much. I need to look into a Peacock subscription.

If you get it on Black Friday It’s cheaper. I paid 19.99 for the year. Or can get free through a Walmart + membership.

Black Friday is quite a ways off, unfortunately. I'll have to do a little searching around and see if I can find something. Thx for the info.

I watch everything senior on the ISU channel except for the women. I can do that in my own time - so that's the GP's, GPF and Championships. Men, ID and Pairs. I watch some women's programmes (like Loena, Kaori and Wakaba). Skate to Milano was also a treat. I always watch Canadian Nationals as well (also in my own time, but there's always Free streams) and enjoy the commentary. Never during the programm but in the replay. I try to watch Challenger events as well, but there has to be a Free Stream! Not that I don't want to pay anything, but the streams for Challengers generally are too expensive. A package of all of them together would be nice.

Senior B's: sometimes yes, sometimes not. I usually go and visit the Challenge Cup in The Netherlands (or rather: parts of it), but then that's the country where I live. If there are Free Streams, I tend to watch. But usually a little later than live. There is something called work!

Probably too much to be healthy considering the sleep deprivation. But I love it! Hope you are having a great time at the Texas comp @moonvine! I would ask you to blow a kiss to Keegan for me but I know he is a family man. ;)

I am hoping to hold out for Peacock's Black Friday special myself. Hoping to get through GP season using my VPN with ISU's YouTube channel until then. 🤞
I really like to use my VPN with ISU's YT channel. And I like to watch streams/YT videos that I find, but I at least sign up for Peacock for January so I can watch US Nats since its nearly impossible to watch without it. Peacock is also nice to have for the Olympics as well, if I recall. As moonvine pointed out, it's free with a Walmart + subscription, so if you happen to have that, it would help. Since we now have Walmart +, I thought well I'll have Peacock all year for other things, but I found I still really only care about watching skating on it. LOL

To answer the OP's question: I watch as many skating comps as I can catch with the limiting factors of access (of course), conflict with work, or extreme mismatch with my time zone. Ha-ha. I don't always watch every skater, but I enjoy doing so quite a bit. If I skimp on an event, it's always the Women's one since that's my least favorite discipline. And yes, I'm considering taking vacation time during the Olympics so it doesn't interfere with watching figure skating. So...yep. I watch a lot.

Oh my gosh!! When I was working I always took vacation time during the Olympics!

When I first discovered skating I watched for hours daily. I would re-watch my favourite programs sometimes multiple times a day.

Now I mostly just watch live. Or replays I missed.

Not as much as I want to right now. Last season I watched way more of the Juniors, this season there's always something keeping me from it...

Me and competitive figure skating, it's a bad romance. I want its everything as long as it's free

OK I'm kidding. I don't have that much spare time, which means that I keep skipping entire categories or even entire seasons. It's fine for me. Life consists of many things after all.

This is the general principle though: YouTube throws at me its generous live stream offer and I either accept or decline. Then, after watching some, I start thinking that maybe I should peek in a certain figure skating forum where I am kind of a member, and then I somehow stay for a chat and discover teasers for watching more skating, and...
I guess you are familiar with the rest of the story :slink:

I watch whatever is available. Peacock, YouTube but hardly ever the main broadcasting channel because Tara's commentary makes me want to throw my shoe at my TV.
Who does the commentating on Peacock? I can't stand Tara (& am hoping ice dance will utilize an American retired ice dancer this season).
