IceWars and Nicole Bobek

I realize that Nicole has trouble with triples, but her skate in the last half was nice. She had a very frozen expression when they showed shots of her and I wonder if something happened during her skate in the first half of the program that wasn't shown on tv. Does anyone know what happened for her skate not to be shown. The thing about no triples doesn't seem a reason not to show it, after all she was given a score. Thanks.

I wondered about that, too. The announcers said that her first perfromance was "very uneven" and that she did not even attempt any triples, even though that was a requirement of the competition.

I agree her second program was quite nice.

Her "technical program" hasn't been shown the last three years! They always "chack" at least one program on Ice Wars (don't know why they can't seem to fit one more program in) and Nicole sadly has been the victim the past three years...she always scored the poorest I believe and therefore got cut out of the broadcast. Some years Ice Wars cut even more programs than one, a few times though I think Ice Wars managed to show everyone.

BTW, Nicole has always been one of my favorites. I loved Whatever Lola Wants...perfect for Nicole!

I just wanted to add that Nicole's first program was to Bocelli music so I assume it'll be part of the Bocelli Tribute show which airs December 18th on NBC. I hope that particular program will be shown, since it was cut at Ice Wars.
