Ugghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Jackson's utter lack of quality control is killing me. I absolutely hate spending so much money only to receive one boot that is heavenly and another boot that already has wrinkles and is already causing rubbing and discomfort just putting it on due to the liner creasing by the back of the heel. I even had to magic eraser the boot since they arrived with some sort of black line on them from just being shipped inside the box without any paper or padding to protect them! It's ridiculous!!

If quality control wasn't such a huge gamble with Jackson I would just exchange them since the left not wrinkled one was perfect and the wrinkled right boot was not, but that would mean sending them both back and potentially receiving even more defective ones than I started with. I guess I'll just go find some bunga pads and keep them since Jackson's customer service can't be counted on for anything, and is actually the reason along with quality control that I want to switch brands even though Jackson's the best for my foot at the moment.

Ugghhh

Personally I would return them. Depending on the vendor, you might be able to wait for delivery of the replacements before returning the first shipment (this works with Amazon). Gives you an opportunity to mix and match, so to speak.

Bunga pads may ease discomfort, but they won't remedy premature wear of the lining, which is a distinct possibility if they are defective from the get-go.

I bought them directly through Jackson online, so I can't mix and match. Realistically at this point i would need to either return them and buy again, or rely on the warranty which could leave me without skates for a while. Since I've already worn them and it the padding seems to have reinflated itself a bit, I'm thinking of just breaking them in to see if that helps and making use of the warranty in 6 months if needed.
