ok... there's some great things happening this month

on the 7th my pug puppy turns 1 years old!!!!!

on the 21st I turn 19 WOOT WOOT!!!!!

and on the 22nd one of my BEST FRIENDS COMES HOME FROM HER ONE YEAR SERVICE IN KOREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'M Jealous!! I will think of you as I'm enduring my standard boring business trips that occur in Januarly.

January 6 is my favorite nieces birthday . And on January 9 (at least around here) Girl Scout cookie sale ordering begins. On the down side on January 8 all of my yearly reports for GFWC (woman's club) are due to my club president

No snow here...I think we have Lad's rain.

For me, January is also a special month. Today is my mom's birthday and later this month is my grandma's birthday.

Toni- I'm glad you started this thread because it reminded me of my mom's birthday on Jan 8th. Her birthday comes up so fast after Christmas that I always forget until the last minute! I am writting it down on the calendar now!! My sisters birthday is also in January, but not until the last day.

I love January too - my mom's bday is the 7th, mine is the 27th, and my sister's is the 28th. I also have many many friends whose birthdays are in January.

The only downside is that January is always a really busy month at work - it's the start of tax preparations, and there's a major time-intensive grant application due at the end of the month that I have to do. Fortunately this is my last year working at the job where I have to do that.
