You cut the sentence short. It should also read, if that's what he wants. I don't care what the nationality of skaters are. If I like them I like them. Why?

I would like him to proceed with getting Russian citizenship. I know mother stands in the way but he is of age and can do what he wants now.
Thanks sillylionlove for saving me. He also said quite recently in one of his interviews that his mother would not allow him to train in Russia.
I have no idea what wishful thinking is about. What am I wishing for?
Joe
.... no... no more firebird... Johnny's a bit more creative with music selection, and I hope that he continues with that.
Q: I know of your love of the Russian culture and people, is it your intent to try to obtain Russian citizenship once your competitive life is done?
A: It depends on where I wish to live when I'm done competing. I will be a citizen of the World!
Firebird. We know he likes birds....
Definitely no Firebird!
Mea culpa. Sorry I didn't. I should be much more careful when writing about Johnny. His fan base is legion. If you had added "if that's what he wants" to the first sentence, I don't think anyone would have said a word. I know I wouldn't have. Maybe that's what you meant, but that is not what you wrote.
Have you ever seen Nureyev's? Maybe there is one on youtube. Once you see it, imo, you will not want to see anyone elses.I wonder if we'll see a program to some music from Le Corsaire.

wow. Johnny shocked me again. I can't believe this is the same guy. He sounded actually gentile about Evan and even congratulated Brian and Jeff. Well I have to say, way to go Johnny. I like you more and more each day now. Galina is working wonders.

Johnny seems different all round this year from performance, journal entries. I think its interesting and appears to be in his best interests, so, good for himAlso looking forward to new programs next season. I also noticed that it was very obvious that he fought through the program. Especially when he pushed for one of those double toes at the end of the triple jump. I was thinking, wow I haven't see him fight like that before. Great job!
I suspect the days of black aura's and icicle on coke comments to the media are well and truly over Thanks mmcfdcsju. It brought back so many memories. actually the ABT version, the male dancers do much more difficult jumps, but that's the era. I loved the 'Baby, it's cold outside' number with Miss Piggy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiIst40or60

That was Barishnikov when he was at ABT. That whole movie was made by ABT dancers except for the guest stars.Johnny alluded to working with Baryshnikov. Maybe this is where he comes in.
