I do hope she returns. She was always a joy to watch. She sounds like a mature young woman and I know she'll make the decision that's right for her.

I absolutely adore Katy's skating, and I hope for selfish reasons that she returns to skating. But of course, most of all, I want Katy to be happy, and whatever brings her joy, whether that be skating or college is what I hope she does. I have experienced that same feeling of hating my sport, and I know how painful that can be. Whatever Katy decides to do, I wish her all the best She is a rockstar

I think the reporter, David Barron, did a pretty good job in this article. But a couple of things could have made it even better. The first is a recent picture; the one in the article is a year old. The second is some info in her condition. I know her injuries are gone, but what kind of shape is she in? Does she stay in shape? Does she work out? Is she 15 pounds overweight? This would give us a few clues on how long it would take her to get back into skating form. She's going to have to start pretty soon to be ready by next season.
