Na-Young Kim and Yu-Na Kim are two different skaters.
Na-Young Kim competes in the JGP and won the bronze medal at JGP Zagreb, behind Mirai Nagasu and Jenni Vähämaa.

YuNa was exempted from the Korean Nationals. The winner of this event will go to the 2008 Worlds with YuNa.

NaYoung Kim is of the same age as YuNa.

It seems like Na-young Kim is one skater (Maybe also Chae-Hwa Kim) who will get to skate her lp at worlds. Men's descipline looks pretty depressing. BTW, does Na-Young Kim not have loop or salchow? Her program has only lutz, flip, and double axels.

I think you are right. She seems to have only lutz and flip so far. Her lutz is good though. She is improving. Korean skaters got a lot of motivation thanks to YuNa.

There is no problem. Just for YuNa. Since she trains in Canada, it is not so easy to visit Korea. And this year there is one more event in Korea, 4cc. She earned an extra ticket for Worlds last year. So, she was just allowed to keep it.

And Na-Young have to select Junior Worlds or Senior Worlds until 12 Jan in Korean time. After her selection, Korean federation will decide JW, WC, 4CC entry.

She won in 2004, no doubt about it.
I remember someone talking about this Wikipedia thing in korean skating board some time ago and I wonder why it has not been corrected.

BTW it's over and Na-young from senior, Yae-Ji from junior won.

I think Na-Young has potentials but she could work on her presentation skills and master other triple jumps.

Yae-Ji is so adorable and she reminds me of little Yuna. Maybe it's her costume(Yuna's mom gave her Yuna's costume) or maybe it's her long limbs but they just look alike!! She's still young and I sincerely hope she keeps on improving with right training and coaching.

Yeah, I can see a lot of girls are highly motivated by Yuna. Good for them and good for Yuna.:agree:
