Jennifer Robinson is a beautiful girl but I hated the Tupelo number. I'm not sure what they are called but the little prancing steps remind me of when they ask horses to count and they stomp out the number with their hooves.

I have to agree with you. Had this number had some decent choreography, it could have been very entertaining. Jennifer Robinson did her best with it, but it was a number that went nowhere, in my opinion.

Assistance chorographer

Was Brian Orsor the assistance chorographer for Gotta Skate? With Lea Ann Miller the head chorographer?

Saw tons of holiday skating over the weekend.... the best one, IMO, had Steven Cousins as assistant chorographer (I think that Lea Ann Miller had the corner on head chorographer). Anyway, in the one I'm thinking of, Mike Weiss did a number to The Lords Prayer and I actually LIKED it.

unfortunately he left a lot to be desired this time around.... "Somewhere in Time" is his program for this show it seems... this is the second or third time he's used it... If he's going to repeat he might want to revive "Story of my Life" that one is his best ever

And yet I could watch Brian's "Somewhere In Time" program forever. I think it's one of his "signature" pieces. Really shows what figure skating is all about with this one. Of course, I would never get tired of the "Story of my Life" either. Another one of his "signature" programs. Brian is from the old school of figure skating - really knows how to use his edges. I think those of us who practiced laying out figures would appreciate his skating quality.

I really enjoyed the show. All of Kurt's shows, especailly Gotta Skates have been awesome and I've really enjoyed them! I'm not huge fans of Brian and Elvis but even I enjoyed them. Sale and Pelletier are a great part of the show and Kurt is so hilarious and one of the sweetest skaters/entertainers I've ever met and one of the best skaters of all time in my opinion! :)

Kurt's Gotta Skate

I thought the show was amazing...I actually got tickets and went to see it but I don't understand why they cut the show down to an hour for the TV viewing. Shows are def. a lot better in real life!
I thought a lot of the programs were really well done except for some of the group numbers (all skating shows seem to have weaker group numbers...but I guess the skaters don't have a lot of time to prepare).
I really loved Brian's programs (not the "Somewhere in Time" --though its good too--but the other one) but then I know the choreographer.
