not bad for Polina she outskated a lot of the ladies considering she finished 12 in SP
and has the HIGHEST TES, and her PCS are slightly moving up !!!

Yeah, she looked really upset to get her score. I think she should be happy- that is BY FAR the best I have ever seen her skate that program.

Well that is simply amazing - Polina K is indeed the top placed Russian! Well done Polina! What a shame about the SP because if it had been as good as the FS, she would have probably come away with the silver medal.

The most amazing fact about all this is that Polina moved from 12th to 4th and within 1.8 points of a medal!!
The other rising star from these championships was Natalia Popova who finished 8th in the free skate. Moreover, I feel she was undermarked and could have finished even higher

I feel the same about Kiira... I like her, but she made too many mistakes. I would have had Viktoria up the podium instead of Kiira. And perhaps Polina instead of Elene.. Elene did well but also made more than one error. But I'll have to look over the protocols; these are all just based on my subjective impressions.
