Wow, I just watched Yu-na's LP. Her jumps were great, but her skating was just not exciting. Her spins are slow and unpolished. I am not seeing very much improvement since last year!
I think though that some aspects of Yu-na's skating aren't noticable on the computer screen. For example Kim skates with a lot of speed. As for her spins, I doubt she got high GOE for her spins just credit for them.
I'm sure she got huge GOE for her jumps though because she had a ton of transitions going in and out of them. Someone said that's the most packed transition program from a lady since Arakawa's 2004-2005 program. And Kim actually skated it well, something Arakawa never managed to do with her program.
I must say that the "other" skater who likes to challenge a lot always receives an enormous PCS whether she pops her jumps or falls. Now, can we stop saying that there's something suspicious about yuna's high scores? And it's really sad to spread rumors that yuna is "arrogant" when in fact you may not even know her. I said this earlier, but many people who know her have said that yuna is incredibly sweet and polite.
since you don't THINK Mao worth that 60+, how can you accept that 66+ PCS, wierd~~
But I love both of Kim's programs, costumes are top-notch as well. I thought last year's LP was stale and boring, she skated it great, sure, but there was nothing interesting about it IMO. The Gershwin program OTOH has many transitions and a very unusual, understated mood. Must say I'm pleasantly surprised, I thought she would go for the obvious spectacle and drama like last year.
