It IS bizarre, but Yan Liu is beautiful so I'm pleased.
I wonder if it's the altitude or the accident. Kimmie had travel problems and arrived at 3 am (not sure which day) so she may be especially tired too, esp if she's one of those who HAS TO GET HER SLEEP.

This said, IMO better this happen in the short program...maybe we'll get some inspiring freeskates :agree: to get back into it

Nah, Lucretia - I'm putting it on Emily. This is her big chance.
(But I'd rather Rochette did it.)
Isn't a typical Kimmie SP score around 58ish? Sounds like she "hung on" a bit but likely wasn't a complete meltdown (given she doesn't have much to fall back on if her jumps are off).
My worry is that Rochette's now had too long to think about it.

Plus, she's Canadian and probably very affected by Dube's accident. This night has to be hard on the whole team.

It depends on how much she is affected by Jessica Dube's accident and plus the altitude adjustment
