I think it was NIshino. Zhang was really good. Not her best, I have seen her more confident before but sill light years above all the others so far..

Yeah, it seems that at recent junior worlds, there are a few stand-out competitors. Not sure if that has always been the case.

Issakova was really nervous, all jumps really shaky. And she lacks the elegance of a top level skater. That music didnt help her at all too. At 17th so far she's gonna miss the LP :(

Did she land everything or did she fall? 17th is kind of low...

Caroline's TES: 38.50!!!!

That's this season's best so far, I think, not just for her (36.xx at GPF), but for all ladies under ISU judging -- is that right? Wow! Is it also the second highest SP score after Yu-na's GPF (flawed) SP?

I think replacing the lutz with the loop really helped her score. I understand the need to get mileage with the 3lutz and all, but I think she should repeat the loop instead of the lutz in the LP, like Mao, and she will gain a few very valuable points. I love her high-kick exit out of the 3loop. ;) It goes right with the Spanish gypsy music.

Yuki Nishino, Japan 2nd- 54.15. The Japanese ladies are very good.

She had 1 fall and that's too bad because without that point deducted she would've qualified for the LP.

I liked Suizu way better than Nishino. But she needs to work on her interpretation she is soo focused on the execution of her program that she hardly shows any expression. Still she was very undermarked IMO.

What was Suizu's score? My feed died.

Glebova has a lovely 2A and a very low sit spin. And her layback catch-foot goes on forever.

53.05 - 3rd

Has anyone noticed that some of the ladies do really low sit spins?

Last round - imo.

Italy - big surprise for me. She's good. interpetive, flow, very impressive.
Caroline - Lovely but she could work getting a bit of spark to her skating.
Issakova - Sad, she could do better.
Nishino - good skater but too many boo boos, overmarked
Suizu - Except for that flubbed 2A, she was brilliant
Glebova - Could work on more flow but she should have been in 2nd.

Final Round up next with Mirai and Rachael.

Samson (Canada) - that lutz did her in but there is potential to work on.

Susanova (Czehc) - not very special

Rahael (US) - Sooo improved. Really looks like a Senior Lady now.

Jenna Vahaama (Finland) -starting off with a 3loop is not the best musically and definitely not good choreography. She's a lovely lyrical skater and arguably, the best, imo.

Mirai (US) The gal's got rhythm. Who could ask for anything more?

Sonia LaFuent - Moving right along and looking bonissima.

The 3 American Ladies will not shine in Swedent this year.

Thanks to everyone doing pbps -- I'm still reading through the men's threads and loving it, and now the ladies; it really stinks not watching, but having these great pbps makes you feel like you are there! thanks again
