mmmm... Kostner in 3rd? You're having a laugh! How ON EARTH could they have placed her in the top 3 when the Lutz was non-existent? Ok, good spins and step sequence but my oh my, how did this place over McCORKELL? They are judging on reputation clearly but I have never rated Carolina Kostner. Without being personal, she is 'gangly' and all her programmes seem the same.
Gutted for little one from Georgia (Eleni Ged...) whatever she's called. Super programme but the poor thing chickens out of the jumps.
Really hope Jenna gets a medal tomorrow and I was made up John & Sinead Kerr got our 1st medal for 15 years. Go GBR!!

I thought Kostner would have this one in the bag, but there's still the FS and she tends to get big scores even with 10 mistakes. Judging by the scores, doesn't look like this SP was well-skated either.

WOW, LEPISTO. She was brilliant. That choreography was terrific and she ate it up! What a spinner!

Wow, I love those Finnish Girls. By far the best skating skills and spins for the day.
And Lepisto SP, remind me so much of Kwan... well done.

If these ladies can hold it together here, and skate their best at worlds, they have an outside shot for sending 3 ladies to Olympics...

I still don't understand all the fuss about Lepisto. She does nothing to me...

but that it just my opinion and it counts nothing. Especially when everybody thinks the opposite I got to the conclusion that I am the one not seing what is so phenomenal about her.

Anyway, noone realized that her PCS were about 5 points higher than in all her outings on the GP, where she had the same attack and performance level.

Where are Euros again?....Was it Finland?
