Saw her at SC i think it was and was not too impress but she was so much better. Lovely skater and can do the jumps. Iam glad for her.
I think right now Cantu of Mexico is on the bubble for making the FS? Would be nice if she made it! (though of course equally nice for each of the upcominrg skaters, if they all make it instead...). It seems rather harsh that more than half the competitors in this competition, do not get to show more than their 2:40 short program
I agree. I know most fans do not like sitting through the lower skaters but I actually enjoy learning about them. That is how I became a fan of Diana Poth.
They could always have a morning vs afternoon for the lower skaters. That way they get a chance to show what they've got and people like me would enjoy watching them. (

Tamar's costume looked like it was meant to resemble some elaborate 19th century dress Scarlett O'Hara might have worn, except on Scarlett it would've looked flattering.
She's a better skater than what we saw here - I would guess the injuries left her little time to train and there may have been conditioning problems. Still, the spiral sequence was lovely - that's always been a strong element for her.
Elena was fantastic, and Candice Didier was very good! A shame she chose Blues for Klook, I can't stand that music. But she did very well.
Cantu and Katz have a slim chance of making it - there are still some skaters left who are not really that strong. But not many.

I have been sitting through since the very first skater, and to be honest, I would never do this again. I still cannot recover from the shock I felt when I saw the first skater who had only tiny tiny doubles and missed the 2A. I wondered What I was watching.

She must have a lot of pressure, being the national champion and slating in her country... I can't even imagine. The good thing is that the whole crowd will be behind her, so that could be good.
