If she has two ratified 3A, Mao can catch up. Yuna has not skated a perfect FS, but her SP almost always pull her through.

That's why I am so upset about the level of Mens field and emphasis that has been put these past years. It will not take long before Ladies start beating Men. This is ridiculous.

I think you just summed up why Yu-Na will take it. Mao needs a skate of her life and Yu-Na can afford mistakes.
Let's just hope Mao lends both 3As and 3-3.
